Randy Packard attends the change of command for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Expeditionary Support Unit ONE at Naval Base Coronado.  R3 supports EODESU ONE by assisting with development, execution, and administration of critical executive functions and processes.  EODESU ONE’s mission is to provide expeditionary logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and materiel management support to seven operational units.  We worked closely with EODESU ONE leadership to develop and refine administrative, logistic, training, and operational processes to ensure the highest level of readiness for supported units and personnel.

R3 provided a combination of management/strategy consultation and policy/regulation development assistance to include authoring a 250-page Customer Service Guide, which serves as the authoritative document by which products and services are requested and delivered.  We also drafted two 150-page Standard Organization and Regulations Manuals (SORM), which serve as the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) instructional manual for the unit; created executive level command briefs for Flag and General officer indoctrination; created personnel transition policy and other regulatory documents. R3’s efforts ultimately helped to enable EODESU ONE’s transition from Initial Operational Capability (IOC) to Full Operational Capability (FOC) and were instrumental in allowing it to fulfill its critical mission of supporting deployed EOD units.
