R3 Employee Recognized for Support Team Contributions

R3’s Justin Speers is an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Flight Support Technician supporting the 554th RED HORSE Squadron at Northwest Field, Andersen AFB, Guam.  The mission of the 554th is to provide the Air Force with a highly mobile civil engineering response force in support of contingency and/or special operations worldwide.

Justin works hard to deliver technical and logistics support to the EOD cadre at the Silver Flag Exercise Site.  Silver Flag is a 10-day course for civil engineers and force support personnel from across the Air Force that features fire protection, force bed-down, convoy training, disaster preparedness, explosive ordnance disposal, foodservice and lodging skills, chemical warfare operations, personnel accountability, and advanced base recovery after an attack.

Justin was recognized along with members of the EOD Flight Support Team in a letter of appreciation from the National Geospatial-Intelligence (GEOINT) Agency Research Directorate for the team’s outstanding support during the GEOINT Research and Development Team’s visit to Guam.  Justin’s assistance in providing logistics and resources support to the EOD flight helped drive GEOINT capabilities to the next level.  Way to go, Justin!
