R3 welcomes Craig Marsh

CraigMarshR3 is excited to welcome Craig Marsh to the R3 team. Craig retired from the U.S. Navy in 2013 with over 25 years of service as a Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician and Command Master Chief (CMC). His distinguished Navy career included a variety of worldwide leadership assignments including service as CMC of Task Force 56 in Bahrain, Navy Senior Enlisted Advisor at CJTF Troy in Iraq, and CMC of Naval Special Clearance Team ONE in San Diego.

Craig brings exceptional leadership and management experience in EOD, counter-IED, and underwater mine countermeasures operations to the R3 team. In addition to operational EOD and UMCM assignments, Craig taught IEDs, underwater tools and techniques, and EOD tools and methods at the Naval School EOD. As the EOD School’s Learning Standards Officer, he directed curriculum development and the certification of more than 200 high risk instructors and developed an Academic Review Board process that was lauded by Navy Education and Training Command as a “best practice.”

Craig is a qualified master EOD technician and master training specialist. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Excelsior University, suma cum laude. He is a graduate of the Air Force Senior Enlisted Academy and the Naval War College Command Master Chief Course and completed a prestigious KEYSTONE Fellowship at the Joint Forces Staff College. The KEYSTONE program is a resident-based course that prepares command senior enlisted leaders for service in a flag officer joint headquarters and parallels the General and Flag Officer CAPSTONE Course.
