R3 recognized for exceptional achievement in veteran employment with 2020 HIRE Vets Medallion award

R3 is honored to have been awarded The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) Platinum Medallion Award for exemplary efforts in recruiting, employing, and retaining our nation’s veterans.

The HIRE Vets Medallion is the only federal award recognizing exceptional achievement in veteran employment. By meeting the criteria required for the 2020 Platinum Medallion Award, R3 Strategic Support Group demonstrated both patriotism and recognition of the value veterans bring to the workplace.

R3 recognized by DoD as a SkillBridge Partner

Through collaboration and partnership as an industry participant in the DoD SkillBridge program, R3 is now approved to offer internships to transitioning personnel from all branches of the service. We are thrilled to be part of this program and look forward to being able to provide new SkillBridge opportunities!

The purpose of SkillBridge is to offer transitioning military service members developmental internships to provide educational experience and learning opportunities to advance their skills to successfully enter the civilian workforce.  Through meaningful professional development, the service member intern develops project and program management skills and gains insight into post-military workforce processes.

R3 awarded Small Craft, Diver Life Support Maintenance and Management and Training Admin Support Services contract

Coronado, CA — R3 Strategic Support Group, Inc. was awarded a 1-year base, 4-year option contract delivering Small Craft Maintenance, Divers Life Support Maintenance and Management, and Training support to supporting Underwater Construction Team ONE (UCT ONE).  The work will be performed primarily at JEB Little Creek, VA with additional support OCONUS to support forward-deployed units. This is R3’s third contract supporting the Navy’s Underwater Construction units.  R3 also delivers the same support to UCT TWO as well as Table of Allowance (TOA) management for UCT ONE.

Ron Orr, R3’s Program Manager stated, “We are honored and excited to expand our support of UCT ONE.  Our men and women are fully dedicated to the important mission sets of UCT ONE and will ensure they are executed at the highest level possible.”
