R3’s Human Resources department had the opportunity to visit our Port Hueneme team supporting Underwater Construction Team TWO at Naval Base Ventura County in Port Hueneme, CA.

Since its establishment in 1973, UCT TWO has deployed to every naval installation in the Pacific, as well as several sites in the Atlantic, the Arctic, and the Antarctic.  UCT TWO is the only Naval Construction Force unit to utilize this deployment cycle to maintain year-round availability.

Eglin Air Force Base, Niceville Florida — R3 Strategic Support Group, Inc. was awarded a 1-year base, 4-year option contract to perform training services for Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NSEOD) courses of instruction at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, and Naval Diving and Salvage Training Center (NDSTC) at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Panama City, Florida.  These services will include instruction of military and civilian personnel, related instructional support, and curriculum maintenance for courses/segments in the areas of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Military Diving.

The mission of NSEOD and NDSTC is to educate students from the United States services, partner nations, and other government agencies in high-risk environments to qualify as EOD Technicians and Military Divers.  Prepare them morally, mentally, and physically to succeed across the full range of military operations.

R3 also delivers similar training support to its EOD Training and Evaluation Unit One (EODTEU ONE) and U.S. Air Force EOD customers.

Ken Normand, R3’s Program Manager stated, “We are very excited and prepared to execute another training services opportunity within the EOD and Diving Communities. Our team of dedicated staff members are extremely capable, experienced and have hundreds of years combined past performance with delivering EOD and Diving related training instruction and unique core skill sets in high-risk environments. We look forward to maintaining a high level of mission support, readiness, and curriculum delivery for the staff and students in both locations.”
