Kyle Kirk
Kyle Kirk joined R3 in 2018 and is a Program Manager at R3 managing EOD Instructor Support and NIWCPAC UUV Support contracts. Kyle retired from the U.S. Navy after 26 years of service as a Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. He served at the height of the Global War on Terrorism, making multiple combat deployments to the Iraq and Afghanistan theaters of operation supporting Naval Special Warfare and EOD Mobility platoons during Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and New Dawn. He additionally served two tours at EOD Training and Evaluation Unit ONE as the Surface Ordnance/IED Division Leading Chief Petty Officer, the Field Training Exercise division LCPO, and Department Senior Enlisted Advisor.
His personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal w/ V, Army Commendation Medal, and Combat Action Ribbon x 3. Mr. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences/Mathematics from Thomas Edison State University. Mr. Kirk was also a Master Training Specialist, Range Safety Officer, and Demolitions Operations Supervisor. During his Navy EOD career, he has gained extensive experience with Demolitions Operations and Surface Ordnance/Improvised Explosives Device prosecution.
In 2023, Kyle was selected as one of San Diego Business Journal’s 2023 Top 50 Black Leaders of Influence.
