Martha Vasquez
Martha Vasquez, Director of Finance and Accounting, joined R3 in March 2021. Her more than 25 years of cost accounting experience supporting Global Government contractors are diversified in accounting and management ranging from public accounting, audit, and compliance to private industry, non-profits, and government contract businesses.
Martha is a proven leader with a strong background in Government Accounting Standards including Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements having acquired knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other regulations, as well as best practices relative to government contracts. She has also served as a Director of Finance, Controller, and Manager for several international government contractors where she led the development of policies and procedures and the implementation of the Deltek Costpoint accounting system and related internal controls.
Overseeing the company’s operational and financial accounting, Martha is responsible for the production of financial reports, month-end close, and target rates. As part of the corporate management and leadership team, Martha develops and implements R3’s financial strategic planning decisions. She is responsible for developing the annual budget and prepares financial forecasts, critical for the fiscal welfare of the company.
Martha holds a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of San Diego and a Certified Public Accountant Certificate (inactive) from the State Board of Accountancy of California. In 2023, she was selected by the San Diego Business Journal as a Women of Influence in Accounting and Finance Top 50 honoree.
