National Defense Industrial Association
The San Diego Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association has been an active Chapter with organizational roots that date back to WW-I through the American Defense Preparedness Association. The primary effort of the Chapter is to promote cooperative dialog between the government and the defense industry. The San Diego chapter is one of the largest and most active, hence most influential, chapters in the nation. It has been selected as a “model chapter” since the inception of the award and its members hold 3 national NDIA Board positions.
R3 remains active in the NDIA San Diego chapter in addition to our national affiliation. We also exhibit at the NDIA Global Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Symposium & Exhibition held annually. The purpose of the Global EOD event is to provide a public forum to discuss the utility of Army, Navy, Marine, and Air Force EOD forces across the full spectrum of conflict – particularly in the areas of homeland defense, irregular warfare, stability operations, security force assistance, and major combat operations.
