R3 to Exhibit at 2016 Global Explosive Ordnance Disposal Symposium & Exhibition, Bethesda, MD

NDIA
Visit us booth #509

Join R3 for the Global Explosive Ordnance Disposal Symposium & Exhibition (GESE), produced by NDIA in partnership with the EOD Warrior Foundation (EODWF), Aug 2– 3, 2016 at the Bethesda North Marriott, Bethesda, MD.

This year the event will address training and technology requirements for the joint service EOD force with a focus on interagency interoperability.  The theme is “Full Spectrum Protection and Response” and there are three sub tracks or tenets in Counter IED, Counter UXO and Combating WMD.  Concurrently NDIA is also hosting a Technology Outreach event with the Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Agency.

You’ll also be able to meet EOD Wounded Warriors to hear their personal stories of recovery and resilience first-hand in a unique panel setting while also bidding on unique gifts during an EOD Warrior Foundation Silent Auction held during the symposium.

Military members attend this event for free so we expect to see lots of EOD in uniform from operational units as well as program managers and resource sponsor from the Pentagon.  There will also be attendees and speakers/panelists from the Interagency to include ATF, FBI and the DHS Office of Bombing Prevention.  This year also proudly recognizes the 75th anniversary of the EOD community (1941-2016) and will be host to EOD veterans of past conflicts to include Vietnam, Korea and the Gulf War as we honor their service.

Now permanently relocated to the DC area, the GESE continues in its 7th year as an NDIA event with a reinforced partnership with the EOD Warrior Foundation.
